Slacking on here

Posted 1 day ago

So sorry to everyone. I have not been on the computer much, and when I have, its been for a few moments. My life has become rather busy lately due to many circumstances. I have not even had time to do one of my favorite past-times! (Writing). I will try to keep up with everyone’s work, but it will be some time before things calm down enough for me to actually sit down n see what you’ve all been…

An Idiotically Weak Moment

Posted 3 months ago

I was looking at a few pictures from graduation and from a friend’s graduation party, and I just got that feeling. That one where I miss everyone terribly. I mean, these people were pretty much my life. Yea, I have my family, and they mean the world to me. I love them, and they know that, or at least they should. But my friends were the family I got to choose, the people like me, the people who…

Application and a Goal

Posted 3 months ago

For about a month now, I have been working on my application to the United States Air Force Academy. It is a very long and stressful process, but it is an effort that will be well worth it should I be accepted as a cadet for the class of 2014 (entering June 2010). My sophomore year was when I first discovered the Academy, but I allowed a friend to talk me out of starting a junior application. T…

This is for Shoaib…a group he was part of back in Boston, made up of some very good friends of his. He wants to get them at least 1000 views today. I watched it and I was amused by it (not an insult, btw). So, I figured, why not help him n his buddies out.

A New Launch

Posted 5 months ago

Soon, I shall launch a new project of mine that has been in the making for some years now. For those of you who don’t know, I am a PFLAGer, an avid gay rights activist and sister to one of the most amazing gay men on Earth. This project is all about supporting our LGBT community and showing our support. They will be my first t-shirt designs, so they may not be the best. If there are any issues …

Regrets

Posted 6 months ago

There is not much in this world that I regret…only 2 major things that I can think of. Both are related.

Regret One: Not applying for the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Spings, CO. One of the best opportunites in life, a great opportunity for a path such as mine, and I let that chance slip through my fingers. I had a year to prepare, a year to whip myself into shape, to mak…

His test and answer

Posted 7 months ago

Today I was drove home, only to be asked by my mother to run to the grocery store and pick up a few things for dinner. I obliged.

I bought what she asked for and as I was nearing the exit and approaching Route 40, a cyclist crossed the road. As I pulled up to the stop sign, the cyclist crossed my path. Recognition.

I have been asking God for a year now to help me to try and forgive a spec…

Anyone know a poem like this???

Posted 8 months ago

I am in need of a poem demonstrating the theme of foolishness or pride brings about a downfall. I have this massive final and I can’t find a poem supporting this theme!

Does anyone one know of a poem that will support this? It can be from RB or from a literary poet, as long as the poem is not a low-level, roses-are-red-violets-are-blue type of poem.

Thanks to any person who—after I p…
