Crystallographix

Born in Yorkshire in the UK in 1947, I moved to Australia in 1977. I am a laboratory technician and started creating crystal compositions from chemicals as a diversion decades ago. I use polarised light microscopy and various filters and (hopefully) an eye for composition to produce unique images. All are photomicrographs taken with a camera mounted on a microscope at a range of magnifications.
The background of most of the images is black. They are enhanced when mounted with a black frame or border.

Becoming part of the Redbubble community has stimulated me to look at images other than the microscopic. I hope others find them interesting.
