Lees Ferry by

Lees Ferry, an 1871 historic site on the Colorado River, is located outside of Page, Arizona. It is considered to be the official starting point at the east end of Grand Canyon National Park.

Beautiful rock formations abound in the area.

Taken with a Canon Digital IXUS 500.

About CrypticFragment

Artist’s Statement: "My work focuses on connections. Connections between the past & present, between different cultures, between man and nature, even between colors & forms.

I am strongly influenced by the architecture & arts of ancient civilizations, sacred spaces, native traditions of unique world cultures, & by the power of nature to reclaim what man has built.

My goal is to inspire others to be curious about the world around them, & how everything is interconnected."
