The image is showing locomotive 78019 2-6-0 BR Standard ‘Class 2’ pulling out of the Great Central Railway Station at Loughborough, Leicestershire, England under load.
This particular locomotive was built in March 1954, designed by Riddles, and was in service with BR (British Rail) until 1966.
These locomotives were designed for light passenger work. Sixty five engines were built in Darlington and they were the smallest engines in the BR range of Standard types. They had a lower running plate than most of the BR Standard designs, and were fitted with BR3 3000 gallon tenders.
