Cyclical Dreaming

I’ll open the sky,
So to see how you fly,
Under blackening clouds:
Sky’s cases and shrouds.

I’ll shatter the sun
For more reasons than one.
Its brightness is blinding,
But hearts are worth finding.

The heavens! Let’s enter,
Just filling our center.
White wings on your back.
On your chest is a crack.

And you’re back in my arms,
From the hell of life’s harms.
And the pain that was shown,
To no fault, but my own.

Your lip…there’s a tear.
“From me?” That’s my fear.
And the truth is I know,
It’s from me, not a foe.

But don’t go quite yet.
It’s me you don’t get.
I’m trying to scream,
And put you on my team.

But…
Every-time…
Someone always…
Get’s you first…And.

I spend lifetimes trying
To forget seeing you flying
But, I’m bound to remember it later.

…under blackening clouds.

Cyclical Dreaming by

Coming out of poetry retirement! This little bit didn’t come about from any intense deathly emo-pain like some of the other things I’ve written. I think I’m beyond that :-). This was just a fun 5 minutes of writing that I had forgotten.

Although, it DOES really mean something specific to something going on in my current…reality.

But…I’m not going to describe it FOR you! :-P
