The Perversity

My unwholesome desires consume me,
An unstoppable force
Meeting involuntary objects

When I’ve pushed them all away,
I have only myself left to disagree with

Unfortunately, he has all the logic,
All the sense, all the reason
All the understanding of the universe

And I am forced contend!
I must, I cannot stop myself!

All my beliefs, my comforts,
Remain with my previous entity.
I cannot doom him to taint others

In kindness, for them, I abandon him
For he is much smarter than I

My pride comes in the fall
Rather, lying down.

I disgust myself.

I love how I constantly have to re-read your works and every time I do, I take something more from them. Your style is very unique to you, and I like that a lot. Your words carry so much
