Definitely Not Maybe

I don’t know… it just came to me.
One could say it was a commentary on how one’s unfortunate use of language can result in the truth being hidden without lying due to a technicality

It certainly isn’t a possibility
It’s indubitably not feasible

How about positively explicit?
Could it be unquestionably categorical?
Is the answer decidedly doubtless?
Is your reason actually unequivocal?

I ask you if it’s because it might be
Then I give you a chance to be elusive
You reply that it’s definitely not maybe
When in honesty it’s utterly conclusive

If I’d asked if it was completely unconditional
Would you have unambiguously said it was reality?
I was protected by considering it to be only plausible
But I found out the truth and you kept your credibility
