Whilst reviewing one of the many bits of info and quotes I have collected, whilst sorting all my files onto a new hard drive catalogue, I was reminded of this view … thought I’d put it up …
“The gradual sinking of human interest into purely objective and utilitarian aims, which have come to usurp all the foreground of their consciousness, has temporarily reduced life to a process of mental, moral, and physical suicide.
People have [in the main] come to consider that they are on this earth to be comfortable and amused [to be ‘happy’]. They tend to seek-out the ‘states’ entirely outside their own capacities mostly in ways detrimental to everything they should be choosing to preserve.”

Oh so very true the words of Vera Stanley Alder…a lot are missing the vital points of life…and instead falling for their temptations of the want of now :)
