House of The Rising Son
Sometimes, just some of us, may have to take stock of our situation, pause and wonder if we’ve made the correct choices, knowing full well, that we shall have to abide in those choices we make. One of those times is often (for many) when we’re nearing “death’s door” or “heaven’s gate”.
I for one have done so, more than once, in this lifetime… [and tonight the chill of lonely clings close again]

That’s always been one of my favourites songs – I want is played at my funeral, really loud with heavy bass – and your image suits the song and your words very well. there is both an ominous feel and a feeling of hope in it. The young man’s pensive, maybe regretful pose is the final maker (killer) of this image. Fabulous work.
