Dragon's Den
I saw a dragon’s head on the left side of the picture, therefore, I called it such. It is actually the foot of a hot flame eating away the wood in a chimney. This picture was taken at F5.6, speed 1/25 Sec. Iso 1600, Focal length 300.0 mm I used an approach lense too.

MissKristy
Yes..I can see it. What a wonderful vision!
Crokus Label
Visions are guides… like when American Native People “used” to go on vision quests… They were looking for the truth that nature and the spirit world had to share with them… (It is still done today, but it is getting a rare thing…)
Thanks MissKristy… :)

i love the colours of the flame, nice details.
Crokus Label
Thanks Rosehearty56… :) I was surprised of the effect myself… I was using an approach lense here… the head of the dragon is in fact about 1/2 in long… so this really was the foot of the flame… :)
Glad you like… :)

Amazing capture. Great colours and the dancing flames add to the moment of spirit in your shot.
I have this funny thing happening that every time I try to shoot such visions, they don’t come out or no-one sees what I do, or on one recent occasion my batteries died and the spare set were flat when they should have been charged. Ironically I was trying to capture a sleeping dragon at the time. You are twice fortunate to see and capture the image. Congratulations.
Crokus Label
Thanks Bonito and Etienne…
Etienne, I know that I am fortunate to have “captured” such vision… I too tend to have little obstacles to some wonderful shots… but I keep waiting until my turn has come…
Thanks for the great comments all of you guys… I am so happy that my worked is enjoyed… :)
