Faded Daisies

That’s just me:
a hungry
poet
wannabe
with daisies
on my mind
and how to save the world
scribbled on a scrap of napkin
stuffed into my empty pocket.

So what-the-fuck
do I know.

Truth is, I don’t give a damn
about the world or
you…
I could just as easily
be dead,
wearing an all-over-body mud mask
soaking up the nutrients of the earth

finally severed
from the shackles
of Your Happy Dungeon,
freed from my “life”

Faded Daisies
