I Wouldn't Dissect You!

I Wouldn't Dissect You!

Dissection is cruel and unnecessary. With the alternative methods available today, schools can save thousands of dollars AND thousands of lives. Some things to consider are psychological impact, education, animal welfare, environment, cost, and chemical exposure.

ALL proceeds will be donated to the Physicians Committee For Responsible Medicine.

“To go against the dominant thinking of your friends, of most of the people you see every day, is perhaps the most difficult act of heroism you can have.”
~ Theodore H. White, American political writer (1915-1986)

I Wouldn't Dissect You! belongs to the following groups:

I love this .. poor little froggy : ( ... I walked out of class when they said we were gonna be doing this .. I was in so much trouble but you have to do what you have to do

  • Crockpot replied

I agree. I was faced with doing this stuff in my Adv. Physiology & Anatomy class sophomore year… and not only walked out of the room but out of the class itself. I dropped it and signed on for plain ol’ Biology. I didn’t receive as many credits as I would have, but I kept my soul.

I absolutely love this, especially the look on Mr. Frog’s face. I am working on a second edition of my human anatomy and physiology laboratory textbook, and there were some suggestions to include experiments involving pithing frogs and turtles, and I flatly refused. Not only are they impractical, expensive, and wasteful, but they are unnecessary and grotesque.
