She won’t win beauty pageants,
She won’t win accolades;
there’ll be no booker prizes,
and no ships will launch in her name.
She’ll never top the charts,
and no gold medals will she win,
She will never know what it’s like,
to ever really win.
She won’t uncover scandals,
and no politician will she make.
She won’t be the next Cameron Diaz,
And No groundbreaking discoveries will she make.
She won’t leave a lasting impression.
The world won’t remember her name.
In the history books she won’t feature.
It will be as if she never came.
But though she isn’t a beauty queen,
Or a Mensa candidate,
to me she is amazing,
and her beauty radiates.
For being beautiful and memorable,
Isn’t about what you say or do,
it is about whom you touch,
and the people who touch you.
