Had some spare time on Wednesday evening so took the IR converted 5D MarkII out for a shoot.
This was shot down at Narrabeen Lake on the norther beaches of Sydney. I was in this small valley so could not get any real sunlit shots which you really need for IR but found shooting the reflected image in the water works just as well. Only had about ten minutes before it was all gone – still light but not much good with IR.

Interesting IR shot, Crispin!!! Nicely spotted.
Thanks Wendi. Not much else on offer that day and when the sun disappeared it was “all over red rover”.

Very interesting!
Waiting for Lucy and Charlotte at athletics so not really planned but a bit of experimenting.
