After seeing this by Peter Hill I decided to give Efex Pro a go and made this picture from this I have to say I’m impressed with it at this early stage.
Canon EOS 5D Mark II Canon lens EF180mm macro 3.5 L Ultrasonic Focal length 180mm F/3.5 Exposure 1/60 sec. ISO 50 Auto White Balance Spot metering Processed in Efex Pro 2.0
Thanks Peter. Some of those filters work very well and there were two or three that worked well on this but thought the grain suited this the best. Thanks for the heads up BTW :-).
I’m intrigued by the title Crispin? I have been investigating Silver Efex Pro too and I really like what I’ve seen, just need to save a little more. The original image is beautiful, this b/w treatment is stunning :-)
My warped sense of humour Jenni but the name more suits the original colour image. I have only just discovered Silver Efex Pro and I am looking forward to exploring it some more. Thanks for your comments.
