My first REAL venture out with my recently IR converted camera.

It is a whole new concept and a steep learning curve……but a whole lot of fun!!

Different lenses deliver varying results and by that I mean varying quality (mainly in being able to deliver sharp/in focus shots).

A big disappointment has been the poor performance of my 16-35mm 1:2.8 L II USM lens on this camera – it is a sensational lens and performed faultlessly prior to the IR conversion. So far my other lenses have worked well.

As I said, first real work out and am learning heaps…….and having fun.

This is a large Gum Tree on the bank of the river near Roseville Bridge, just north of Sydney. Taken late afternoon with clear skies.

Good idea to view large.

Thanks for stopping by.
