Up in the Blue Mountains for a day of taking photos courtesy of Will Barton. Second last stop of the day was the lookout south/west of Blackheath at the end of Shipley Road. This Lady was standing looking at the view apparently with no one to share it with……….as though she was waiting for someone to join her.

Canon EOS 5D
Canons Lens EF 85mm 1:1.2 L II USM

Thanks for looking – don’t forget to view large :-).

cheers

Crispin

Such an interesting subject and just a little sad. Great use of bw.

  • Thanks Cordelia, candid shots are my favs. I think this shot lends itself to B&W very well accentuating the sadness.

Very well done Crispin…you have captured the feeling of a lone person (perhaps a lonely Sole)
surrounded by the vastness of a huge background.Ihope someone is careing for her at home

Thanks Jeff, it does have a sad feeling to it. I’m sure she was with somebody as she didn’t look as though she would have driven there by herself.
