Sydney Harbour Bridge

Crispin Gardner IPA

Sydney Harbour Bridge

I took this shot while out with some other photographers on Observation Hill. It was a beautiful night and have some lovely colourful sun set shots in my portfolio but this one works better in black and white.

Canon EOS 5D
Canons Zoom Lens EF 70-200mm 1:2.8 L IS USM
Focal length 185
F/2.8
Exposure 4/5 sec.
Exposure compensation: -1 step.

Thanks for looking – best viewed large.

cheers, Crispin.

    Crispin Gardn...

Thanks Chris. Nothing wrong with the 40D – great camera. The only reason I went with the 5D is I love the full frame for landscape and portraits. Cheers.

Powerful in black and white! I like the perspective and the branches blurred out in the foreground lend a nice effect!

Thank you Joy. There were about 30 photographers about on this particular night so had to find my own little spot and used the zoom to squeeze in this shot. Was very happy with the result.
