Chris is an artist and documentary photographer, who has spent the majority of the last two years living abroad in South Korea. Chris has always endeavoured to travel off the beaten track, avoiding the popular tourist destinations, instead looking for a more realistic view of life. Most recently, Chris visited North Korea, but has also visited countries such as Indonesia, Bosnia, China parts of Eastern Europe and South east Asia. Chris is not interested in the sugarcoated experience of the world, where package deals lead to half-truths and irony. Instead Chris has built a strong portfolio of images that inspire, sadden, amuse and reflect, describing the world and it’s inhabitants within their own environments, removing the ‘rose-tint’ and cutting straight to the heart of diverse cultures.
Chris graduated from Nottingham Trent University School of Art and Design. (in the U.K.)
