This started out, years ago, as a photograph which, although I loved the colors of, the subject matter was mundane. So, through the electronic magic of photo editing software, primarily photoshop, I distorted beyond recognition, until it reached a state that I found pleasing. Just now, I ran across it again and cropped to zoom in on what I thought was the most interesting portion, and decided it was finally time to offer it to public view.

I must say that part of the inspiration for digging it out of obscurity and putting it into the light of day was from Shulie1 here on RB … although I still do not know how you do what you do, I feel that this might not be out of place in your portfolio. Even though I did this some time before I knew of your work, this brings to mind the adage that “imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.”
