Digitally created abstract. Increasingly, I hesitate to describe my abstracts or to try to explain what they mean to me. I am a big fan of Eckhart Tolle, who is not a huge advocate of “mental noise,” and believes we should allow things to just BE, and appreciate them for what they are without having to label, quantify, or possess them (of course, if anybody should happen to want to possess a copy of this, I would be more than pleased if they would order a print). When appreciating an abstract, how it makes the viewer feel is more important than what the artist was thinking about when it was created. Sometimes even the title of a piece will color my perception of it, and I would like, for the most part, for my abstracts to speak for themselves.
