Put your feet up and relax with a steaming, fragrant cuppa tea. There is something almost mystical about tea … consider its history and the cultural and ceremonial aspects of it, as well as one’s individual relationship with the brew. Nostalgic memories of my grandma’s favorite teapot (and she had several, all named) take me back to mornings in my childhood. It also puts me in mind of rabbits and mad hatters — tea can transport you through the looking glass.

This image is also available printed on fabric at Spoonflower where you can order it on a fat quarter of canvas and mount it on your own 14×18 stretcher bars as a wall hanging; alternatively, a yard of the twill or canvas will yield a half dozen placemats.

Thanks, all. I really enjoy this piece, myself. The cup, saucer, and teapot are from my Pistoulet dinnerware, which I love. You can see the dinnerware both at Pfaltzgraff dot com as well as Amazon, which also carries Secrets of Pistoulet, the charming little book that inspired the design.
