These ducks probably can’t read, but the sign might indicate why they are standing around on the edge of this little neighborhood lake: DANGER, DO NOT FEED OR MOLEST THE ALLIGATORS.

Thanks very much. I actually had not noticed the alligator warning when I shot the picture; I just saw a bunch of ducks apparently reluctant to go in the water. When I opened it in photoshop, intending to crop out everything but a few ducks, I had to laugh.
