Another bougainvilla picture. Although the colors of this plant are deep and rich, my favorite part of the bougainvilla is the tiny little white blossoms that peek out from the colored petals. Taken in somebody’s yard on a walk around my St. Petersburg, Florida, neighborhood one delightfully sunny afternoon a couple years ago; I don’t even remember which camera I was carrying.
August 2011 update: I posted this picture almost four years ago, and it has managed to pick up all of 45 views … which is, what? maybe an average of one a month …. and no comments or favorites. I am tempted to cull my public portfolio and retire this for lack of interest, but I like it enough to add it to a couple of new groups and see if anybody will say oh please don’t hide this away.
