I don’t understand my dreams. They’re usually very fragmented, with bits of all different kinds of stuff that don’t go together; not scary, just confusing. When I think of where they come from, I imagine the dream gremlin going into this place and picking up things at random, putting them into a blender of sorts, and then feeding them to my sleeping brain.

The dream gremlin has been working overtime in my dreams lately,, grrrrr:) Wonderful abstract,, so much to see, I love the creative use of color! Cool work:)

  • Thanks very much. This was done a couple months ago and I wasn’t sure about it so set it aside. Came across it again yesterday. It was all in color and, tho interesting, kind of busy. So I tried seeing what it looked like desaturated — better, but I wanted to keep the red eye fairly prominent, so selected little bits to stay bright and desaturated the rest. The dream analogy came to me as I was uploading it to RB. I appreciate your comment.

Ginny, this is great – the fun splash of color in a gray world that in itself has a lot of depth and layers creates a fun candy experience for the eye and mind.

great image – illustrates dreaming, as it is …all in chunks, sometimes colorful sometimes more greyish …
