Grey Spanish Moss
This picture was taken the same day as the other pictures Phillippe Park in Safety Harbor, FL, most of which are very colorful. However, this came off the camera almost completely devoid of color. Grey already, I decided to play that up so, tho not desaturated per se, it is done mostly in shades of grey. Gives it a moody aspect that I had not anticipated when I snapped the shot.
Spanish moss is common in Florida, indeed the southeast U.S. Early colonists used it to stuff their mattresses with. I think that they eventually learned to wash it first, to get rid of the little bitey critters that live in it.

I am leaving the card option available, although be aware that the RB cropping eliminates most of the border. I don’t like my borders being cut off, so I may reconsider the card option. However, in the meantime, at least the picture will be intact.
