This was taken at L28 Canal in the everglades. I actually felt sorry for the poor guy, think he was in a fight with another gator. I took about 30 different gator shots and this was the only gator that charge towards my boat when I tried to get closer, think he was kinda mad. SO much better if viewed large. He even has a broken tooth
I thought the same thing, poor baby. It looked old like it was starting to heal so I think he will be okay, grow up to be a very mean gator, one that no one can get near.

I agree with you, not sure if he was hurt in a fight , could be a boat, I don’t think it is a new wound, I think its in the healing process, I think he will be fine.
