This photo was taken at an Australian Adult Photographic Workshop I co-hosted in March 2009.

The actual idea for the shot was to side light Anne with a single directional flash and then to vary the amount of light from the lamp in back with different shutter speeds…

But using a higher ISO and shooting without tripping the flash (while someone else directed Anne) provided something interesting and a little different.

Plus a bit of photoshop work of course!
