The Isis statue was created by British sculptor Simon Gudgeon and stands in Hyde Park, London. It was donated by the Halcyon Gallery as the figurehead of an appeal to raise money towards the Isis Education Centre, a facility where young people can learn about the natural world in the city. In ancient Egypt she was a goddess worshipped as patroness of nature and magic.
