This cute little caterpillar evolved from a drawing from The Arthouse Co-op travelling Sketchbook Project sketchbook. I am doing the theme In a Nutshell. The original drawing is of a few caterpillars hiding in their nutshell home. I update my blog with all the pages from this sketchbook.

I decided to use part of the sketch to do an original ACEO card for the current theme (using only 2 colours). The colours I used were Winsor & Newton’s Permanent Carmine and Green Gold. They make a lovely sepia-like painting with pinks, greens and golds.
