Alternative MySpace Homepage Layout. by

I was on MySpace’s website after reading a tutorial on how webpages are layed out, and I thaught ‘why not try to make a different MySpace design?’.

With this, I didn’t think I would better the original. On MySpace, I have two comments saying I should show it to the main people of the site to see what they say…. I dunno if they’re joking or actually saying something good about my work…. One main reason why I upload ‘work’ on RedBubble, or DeviantART. See what other people, that I’ve never met before, think about my work, so I’m always allowing comments.

I know I got a long way to go if I want to become a web designer, or anything to do with digital art (not sure if that’s what they call it for the type of things I do), so if anyone has any tips or advice…. please feel free to share your wisdom. =). It will be really appreciated.

I don’t mind this. I hate mySpace, but this is not the worst layout ever. Now time for some brutal honesty, or something. In the search bar, the shadow should be up the top, not down the bottom. It looks odd, like it’s a button, not a search bar. The mirror effect on the text for “Mood & status” and the like should have the opacity turned down. I’m not a huge fan of the effect, as it is a bit overdone now, but if you’re gonna have it, just make it a little less intrusive. It makes it a bit hard to read for me.

Other than that, it’s not too bad. It’s a bit hard to do anything with the default mySpace layout.
