Around the time i decided to start photography i decided it was best to learn before doing, then learn by doing. So i needed to know what i was going to shoot to know what style to study. I guess growing up in Montana their was no other option but landscape. It was instant love, I had no other focus in my life like photography. I did fall in love with the streets though, then wildlife, so i guess now my range is widening as does my abilities. I now run a small business turning my dreams into cold hard cash to travel and enjoy life. I’m always learning, always reading, always ready to teach what i know also. Shooting film has its rewards, I’ll never delete something i didn’t want to, I’ll just lose the negative. Still better in my eyes even tho digital is taking over the world, but hell I’m stubborn. My goal is to have a picture that appeals to everyone that looks here. I hope i don’t let anyone down.
So I love shooting film but to have large file size means a very powerful scanner. A scanner i don’t have…har har. So I have many amazing pictures but nothing that would be able to make large print size or medium for that matter. So instead of withholding my art work I have decided to just do a card series to see the overall reaction so some of my work. I would love to hear any comments on this idea before i get it really started. I am new to the redbubble world and just don’t know if cards would be something worth getting into. I think what my main goal is, to show my work and if someone would like a print i would do the scan and have it available. It just isnt economical to have them all scanned at such a large file size before i know how they are liked or not. So please I would love some feed back on this idea. I’m never home, always traveling, but when i do get home id like to be able to scan for print size, so money made off these (card only) purchases will go towards scanner. Thanks
By the way,
My work is shot all over the U.S.A. Some places include Virginia, Montana, Colorado, Idaho, Washington, Wyoming, Michigan, Illinois, and British Columbia Canada
