With all the rains we have been having lately, the roads to our rig were all closed so the boys got a chopper ride out. The pilot was also kind enough to do a fly by for me.

Unfortunately i could not get the shot framed good enough, so this is 2 separate shots layered in PS. Same exposure for both.
Nikon D700, 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6 at 105mm, 1/1250 sec at f/9, ISO 400.
I wish now i had of used a slower shutter speed to get some blur in the rotors!
