no wonder i was grounded
for most of the nights
hanging out late i was one of the lads
worrying our parents
mums and dads
theyd keep me in
always for weeks

now im older i understand
the pain in my bum
was caused by the hand
the hands of my parents
who tried to keep me right
to make me learn respect
by keeping me in at nights
those were the days
and those were the weeks
and all the trouble i caused
that got me red bum cheeks
