African Elephants have a special place in my heart. They are such gentle giants. The closeness they share within their family group is a true example for us humans!
A sense of place
The heat of Africa (as a place) is felt here. The typical African silhouettes strengthens this feeling.

I love this series, the colours are outstanding, you really dont need to change a thing as they are perfect :)
I can’t see anything which needs changing here Mariaan, you could get a lid or something circular to draw around the sun, I’d use pale yellow, pastel pencil or if your feeling confident paint it. Will make your glorious sun glow even more. Actually this is only an idea, your painting is beautiful.
