They should only get credit for inspiring you, you recreated it on canvas. I love the swirl of color in the sky, and the light that glimers on the rocks. You’ve done very nicely here.
Love the spikes in the waves and the streaks throughout the work…adds a uniqueness to this piece.

great painting cg, I particularly like the beam of light coming from the lighthouse. It seems to be giving a desperate warning of impending doom, mirrored by the shock of surf, repelled by the steadfast rocks. Great drama and atmosphere
thank you everyone! yeah for this painting i had to use a small brush, the tiniest one i found for the entire piece. turns out i was painting too fast. and i had to slow it down :)
