    There’s something about isolated trees, that grabs me, this is no exception, great painting cg.

    I’m reminded of Joyce Kilmer’s words when I study this lovely painting—”I don’t think I will ever see a poem as lovely as a tree . . .” Like Richie said, there’s something about trees, especially isolated trees, that speaks to us. This one caught my attention and spoke to me, and I can tell you I liked its message. And what was that message? Sometimes we don’t need to explain; we should just take time to savor and appreciate. That’s what your tree did for me. Thank you.

    Amazing….

    I think that I shall never see
    A poem lovely as a tree.
    A tree whose hungry mouth is prest
    Against the earth’s sweet flowing breast;
    A tree that looks at God all day
    And lifts her leafy arms to pray;
    A tree that may in Summer wear
    A nest of robins in her hair;
    Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
    Who intimately lives with rain.
    Poems are made by fools like me,
    But only God can make a tree.
    ~Joyce Kilmer, “Trees,” 1914
