Angry as I listen again
Heard these words before
They are dreams for another
And include a new me
Must I live this way?
Lie and then take cover

If only I could be
The one that calls from within
Another boy another time
Living life without the sin

Talking words that make no sense
Lie to love and live again
The day will come and swallow me
Dream turn rich and real
Drowning in that sea
Love and then we’ll be

If only I could be
The one that calls from within
Another boy another time
Living love without sin

Pushing me and I give in
To understand once more
Two steps forward one step back
Never forget what the dreamer sees
Eyes made from deep bright souls
Seeing more of love within this pact

If only I could be
The one that calls from within
Another boy another sign
Living new without sin
