Some donating clarification (for the Victorian Bushfires)

Some donating clarification
Hi everyone
Thank you for supporting the Victorian Bushfires Appeal as members of this group, as individuals or through the Phoenix-Appeal account. Lots of people are asking how this all works.
Group Members
If you join the Phoenix Group and submit works to the gallery here, you are in effect pledging profits from the sale of that work. Redbubble is unable to transfer profits from individual works. So it is up to the individual member to forward profits on to their chosen charity.
However, if you are pledging your entire portfolio for a set period of time, Redbubble will transfer funds over to an appeal account AND match that amount. For this to happen, you must email Redbubble accounts before the end of each month advising them that you have made this pledge.
If you wish just to donate profits from an individual work, the best way to do this is (in my humble opinion) is to contact the Phoenix-Appeal Account by bubblemail and make arrangements for that work to be uploaded. The Account is being administered by the hosts of this group so you can also contact any one of us directly as well.
The Phoenix-Appeal Account (not group) has been set up to have all profits automatically paid into the Victorian Bushfires Appeal. So there is nothing further you would need to do.
If you have any questions about this at all, I will soon establish a Q&A thread in the forums.

Great stuff Craig!!!! I love how RB is supporting the Phoenix Appeal and all the other pledges of donations to the bushfires.

No worries Craig… I’ve had it easy, at least my work has eased off a bit so I can help but Anne’s juggling heaps and isn’t sleeping much. But she’s coming over this weekend for a couple of wellearned days off!!!!! So excited!!! Cathie and I will make sure she relaxes and maybe will even let her sleep :D Pity you and Jen don’t live here. xxGG

I would willingly pledge any/all sales to this appeal – but since I never sell anything (AND I don’t mind, I’m not whinging!!!), it would be pointless!
Nevertheless, I have already donated money, and tomorrow I’m going to fossick through the shed for horsey things, as Bonnetts here in South Oz are sending trucks over every two days with donated horse gear. For those of a particular horse-bent in SA, please look at the HorseSA website for information on how to donate here in Adelaide.

Thanks for this Craig … I have given a number of artworks to the Phoenix-Appeal to try help out a little … and will definitely also put some art into the wildlife site to raise funds too … such a sad time for all Australians at present.
