I actually like this better its very moving and haunting in a clear way with the brightness around the tree the the dark really makes it stand out so mystically stunning
JasonSmithPhotogs
Both are great. I love the color in the original one, but the errieness of this is brilliant.

VBS Thanks V :) :) I think I like the Orig better, but this has a certain eeriness to it I really like too :)

I like this one Craig – but the colour version still does it for me!
mawaho
The other one is just that bit better because of the lovely detail in the sky
Craig Shillington
VBS Thanks Kelly :) Mysterious eh :) VBS This was taken on private property a little out of town, it’s funny how much like an oasis that property is. I really should find out who owns it and get permission to go in and get a heap more wonderful photos.
Craig Shillington
Hey Naomi :) Long time eh!!!! Thanks :) The colour version still does it for me too :) {{{hugs}}}
Craig Shillington

Love this version Craig – has a real intense feel about it… reminds me of the scary bits of the wizard of oz… or even a cinematic backdrop… This is sensational!
PS: Thank you so myuch for your kind comments – sincerly appreciate it! So cool!
illicit

Melody
:D Im getting” Wuthering Heights”
“Heathcliffe, its me, Im Kathy,
I’ve come home, im soo cold,
let me in your
window….”
Very atmospheric….very Gothic:)

Hi Craig – for me its definitely this one over the colour image. Looks like the tree is a real survivor (broken limb and all) whilst the clouds are just passing through trying some intimidation. A fabulous image!

Wow….it’s such a colourful image yet it is in black and white…...if that makes sense.
It just pops!
lareejc
hmmm – I must have missed the color one; I’ll check in a minute; I like this ‘haunting’ picture – I take it that you intentionally got the sunlight/sun at just the right place to make it look like the branch is falling RIGHT NOW!?? I definitely like it..
GerryMac
excellent capture!
Craig Shillington
