VBS Thanks Shanina. :) I was really excited getting these. It was my first attempt at lighting and I think I got about 6 fairly good shots. :) My favs were this one and Broken The reason I REALLY love these is because all the shots weren’t timed …. they all had exposure times under half a sec :)

Great shot. i have been trying for ages to get a lightning “hit”! No success. I do live in an area tho’ where we only have lightning like twice a year.

The color is wonderful. The shear scale on the bolt is wondrous. I can only imagine what it felt and sounded like. I’m sure it was a powerful moment. Awesome shot!

This was during an horrific storm Darryle, the wind and noise still didn’t drown out the loudness of the clap of thunder from this one though and the electricity in the air made my hair stand on end!!! It was an amazing night!!

Wonderful Craig! I love storms, but we just dont seem to get them here… just wind and rain!

this is not only beautiful but very awsome! We don’t get a lot of lightening here in Salem, Oregon. I was raised in Wyoming though where there were a lot of lightening and thunder storms. I will be going to Nebraska sometime soon and I hope I can capture some lightening there. Great capture, Craig!
