Smashing good work there Craig – simply stunning! This would look awesome in large print.

Absolutely gorgeous Craig, but I know what you mean. My Table Cape and Beach Shots of Tasmania are “home”, but I live in Melbourne. You know the saying….”Home is where the heart is”....
Akira
Ah, very nice. It’s amazing how many different colours, forms, shadows and so on the sky and sun can produce together.. Nicely stitched as well.
Tara Brownett
yeh this is a hot photo. Great work craig. I need to learn how to stitch.
Craig Shillington
Hopefully Jack ;) Maybe I should buy it for myself :) :) Thanks :)
Craig Shillington
It sure is Sue … and in saying that, my home was here for a little while anyway. :) I have no regrets … just can’t wait to get home :)
Craig Shillington
Thanks Akira …. what is more amazing is how many people probably don’t stop to actually see a sunset properly like this and take it all in!! I recently upgraded my puter and put Vista Business on, alas, my Panoroama program won’t work, so it’s either go back to manually stitching them … or pray they update soon and make it avail. for Vista!! Grrrrrr The only problem with going to a brand new OS.
Craig Shillington
LOL VBS Wow, hot is good Tara ;) :) Hehehe WOW!! Stitching is pretty easy as long as your shots are taken pretty well right after one another. It’s easy to introduce continuation problems in a lot of photos (clouds moving etc). You should try it in just a regular graphic program and see how you go :)
Craig Shillington
Actually, just a P.S to that Tara ….. sometimes taking the shots a while after each other can make a photo more interesting. :) For example …. I stitched two photos of the train that goes from Perth to Kalgoorlie together …. they were taken a couple of seconds apart and I moved the camera to follow the train. When I stitched them …. it shows two trains, one following the other. So you can have a bit of fun too. :)

Love this, especially the way that the cloud has unwound itself into this most attractive shape. It gives the shot a real feeling of movement and connectedness
Craig Shillington
Thanks Mark :) Yes, that cloud adds so much more to the overall emotion doesn’t it. I also love the shift in light from left to center and to right. (South-North) Just expresses the expanse so much more and humbles me!! And hey … .as an added bonus …. my car is in shot too. Kudos if you can find it ;)

divine shot..
Craig Shillington
Thanks Sharon. The photo may have Divine qualities to it; for you (and yeah …. okay, bugger it, I am proud of this) it’s not a really divine place to live ;) LOL I guess I am looking for my slice of heaven when I can ;)

Beautiful, go the West.

Awesome shot Craig! Beautifully timed. Love that lone tree in the vastness of the scene.
