Decay
Poem Collaboration time people :) :)
- The idea here is to add TWO lines of the poem and let someone else add another two lines as we form a poem around the photo that can be added to the Red Bubble Collaboration Hub. :) Get involved and let’s see what wonderful work we can all make together :) :)
- You can still leave normal comments if you don’t want to join in.
- You can also come back at anytime to add another two lines, just give others a chance to add first :)
HAVE FUN!!!

- Decay (Thus far)
She spun webs with her pulsing veins
The sun drying away her pains…
A mindless shell of what she used to be
Incomplete within her misery
But is there hope for her today?
To wash the numbing pain away
No longer will her prey come near
Empty ravening is her fear
Full of sleep she dreams of a past happiness,
Only to wake to this nightmare
The painful price for existence
The easing only with substance
Red blood, red deep
She hopes no nightmares in her sleep
Or breaks in heart;
It hurts to cry,
Her only release
To be free, die
In decay, release
Goodness returns to earth
And from these inner most feelings,
She will give birth.
Life seductively, finite
Womb life…life shivers
Will this new life bring meaning to her own
Or more imprisoned in a world all alone
She wept tears that spun into tormented years
But felt an emotional embrace releasing her fears
Her spirit, her fire her life and her love
Born down below now free, flies above…
Her works of art , the webs she wove
Stays strong and perfect, with gentle hold.
They flutter gently, in the breeze,
Only her can they appease
Her physical body may be gone…
But her art lives on and on.
