Way cool first shot! I just got my 5D and like you, I`m totally amazed… probably more so for me as I just changed from film!! I think the dynamic range (I was blown away too) comes from the full frame sensor which hopefully most camera manufacturers will move to when the cost becomes reasonable. In the meantime, congrats on a serious piece of adventure investment, and a great first shot to inaugurate it!
