These zany, burn out your retinas, way too colourful to be true, HDR processed images seem to be the in thing with a lot of people these days. I’m kinda reserving judgment, but enjoying what HDR can achieve in bringing back those tonal ranges that can so easily be lost when trying to get detail from a single exposure.
For this shot, HDR giving both the sunset as the human eye sees it, but also capturing details of the church and foreground that would otherwise be in silhouette. Or conversely, the foreground detail without burning out the sky.

Oh wow Pete…..this is SO awesome! It looks so real! You can see every blade of grass and the textures on the church are amazing and I LOVE that sky! This is probably one of my favourite images of yours so far :) I really enjoy the b&w too, but think I do prefer the colour. Love, love, love it :)
