Very very cool shot………..!!!!!
Thanks Steve, I love those staring eyes.
oh my he gives me the goose bumps fantastic shot well done
Thanks Karen, looks a bit frightening at this magnification doen’t it, but this photo covers about 2.5mm real life width, so it’s a tiny little spider really.
well he still looks scary well done again pete
HOw cute and sweet is he…….im sure he did wink
Love it ! very cool macro, again nice and close. :-)Looking into his eye and back out at you gear I got interested in you lighting, looks like you’ve 2 flash units. I’ve just mounted my 430 and 580 in what looks like similar arrangement.
Hi Darren, thanks for your comments. I’ve been looking at your work and am very impressed. I see, like me, you’ve got a number of jumping spider photos. This shot used four small manual flash guns (Sunpak GN 14 & 20 and Starblitz GM 16 & 20 with built in slaves). Two at very close range on the subject, that show as reflections in the eyes, plus two to light the blue background. One flash linked to the camera and the other three fired on slaves.
That is such an awesome picture!!! Love the macro, love the detail and cannot get over the clarity!!! Exceptional work!!!
Many thanks for your comments
