WOW! What a neat shot. I see a face in the smoke with it’s mouth open and smoke coming from the mouth. Is that the inspiration for the title? Very unique Pete. I’m Impressed.
Pete Costick
Yes, you see the face and breath that I see and that insired the title, many thanks for you kind comments
Shelly Hiebert
This is awesome Pete! It turned out perfectly with that puff of smoke and the face. Love the title :)
Pete Costick replied
Hey Shell, many thanks, glad you like it, credit for the title must go to a very dear friend of mine, who frequently helps me with such things.
Rachel Gartly
Fantastic work! Shapes in the clouds, well in this case smoke. Brilliant title.
Pete Costick replied
Thanks Rachel, glad you like it, the title is the work of my good friend Shelly

Nice Pete – gonna try me some of this when I get a chance! – Too nice down this part of the world at the moment to be stuck inside though.
Pete Costick replied
Hi Dean, thanks for taking time to comment, much appreciated. Yes, its pretty dismal here in Blighty, hence I’m resorting to these indoor shots. Looking forward to the spring and doing more macro nature work. Cheers :)

Pete Costick replied

Jerame *
amazing!! I don’t have a clue how you did this.
Pete Costick replied
Hi Jerame, thanks for taking a look and glad you like this. Shelly encouraged me to give smoke art a try, but was amazed myself, when this face appeared out of the smoke.
Yvette Bielert
Brilliant shot Pete! Smoke art is completely alien to me so I’m not sure what it took to achieve this, but it’s very impressive! Love the wild hairdo too!
Pete Costick replied
Hi Evette, this was first time I’d tried smoke art (followed Shelly’s lead), was quite fun once the set up is sorted. Took loads and then waded trough them to choose a few favourites, but was amazed myself to see the face. Be warned though, I stank the place out with those incense sticks. Thanks for your taking a lot, and yes, the hair is a bit wild :)
Sashy
outstanding photo
Pete Costick replied
Many thanks, I appreciate you comment
Maria Moro
this is fantastic,,,, very clever & an instant fav,,,,,
Pete Costick replied
Hey Maria, thanks for the fav, glad you like it. I took loads, but this one just stood out as being a face even when first viewed on the camera. Even the little whisp by the mouth (hence the title) was there, without needing any post processing trickery.
Trevor Needham
Brilliant! This is artistry!
Pete Costick replied
Thanks Trevor, glad you like this one
PamelaJoPhoto
That is too neat! I usually have to study an image to see what the artist is seeing but this one is very clear. Nicely done!
