Who am I?I am a 39 year old adolescent, carefree yet responsible. I grew up and attended high school in Wisconsin. I am a husband, a father of a 14 year old daughter (Chelse’), and the “fun” uncle to my nieces and nephews. I cherish my family and spend a lot of time with them. I have one sister who lives in Solon Springs. My parents, have a horse ranch also in Solon. We have dinner together several times a week.I am an adrenaline junky, a thrill seeker, an adventurer. Pushing the envelope of controlled danger is my drug of choice. I have traveled to many lands, drank their wine, and tasted their flesh. I find beauty in everything and everywhere. I appreciate art, respect drama, and enjoy reading. My favorite book is ‘The Cane Mutiny’.I am a soldier, a defender of democracy. I am a paratrooper, a Ranger, and have been trained in the art of war. I have killed men and am visited by them often. I am a leader of men and a student of life. I recently retired from the United States Army with over twenty one years of service. On the first of April, 2005, I was run over by a drunk driver. His truck drug me thirty feet, my head lodged in the wheel well, my body battered and broken. My neck is broken in seven places, held together be titanium rods and screws. I am a C1 quadriplegic. I had to die in order to appreciate life. Every day is full of struggles and rewarded with minor accomplishments. I am a survivor and humbly, an inspiration to many.I will learn something from everyone, for I am the Todd.
