These are three baby guinea hens perched on my neighbors fence. We had 5 adults at one time roaming our neighborhood but their numbers dwindled to 3. Now we have a host of babies and I think there are now twelve. They are fun to watch but messy and noisy. Their owners just allow them to wander free which is OK I suppose – except when they decide to roost in a tree outside your bedroom window or take up residence on your front porch. Taken in Knox County, Texas with a Canon D30 – some tweeking with photoshop in hue, saturation, and unsharp mask.
