Prayer request for my sister

Hello there all my red bubble friends. You all have been so kind as to include me in your prayers and once again I’m asking for your help.
My sister, who is five years older than me, has cancer for the 3rd time. It started 8 years ago as breast cancer and has come back in several places since then. Today we put her back in the hospital. She has been running a fever everyday for at least two weeks. She had tests and scans last week but all tests came back negative for infections – scans were suppose to be back tomorrow (Thursday, Dec. 12th). Today she got even worse so she was admitted. The docs are now saying that the cancer lesions on her liver and in her bones are worse and there is new activity there. She also has tumors at the base of her skull but not much has been said about those – I, however, fear they are worse since she has also been sick to her stomach and had a fainting spell about three weeks ago – something that is out of the ordinary for her. Tonight she is under morphine for the pain and tomorrow a further course of action will be decided upon. I am praying for the best – especially since her first grandbaby is due to arrive in February. I want her to be able to experience that joy.
She has been a faithful servant to our Lord – she was a minister of music in the Methodist church for thirty years. I know that all she asks is that the Lords will be done. I, however, am more selfish, so I’m praying that she be spared and be able to enjoy life for many more years, but I know that above all we must be able to rejoice in all things – but, wow, that is hard for we humans to do sometimes.
Thanks for all your prayers in the past, the present and the future. I finished my radiation treatments just last week and I am feeling much better. Tomorrow I will go to the hospital to spend the night with my sister just as she did for me back in late February when I had cancer surgery. I also know that my rb friends will on the prayer path – thanks a bunch for remembering us!

I pray your sister will have a very intimate relationship with our Lord at this time. Yea though I go through the valley of the shadow of death I am with thee. I know you hope it is a valley she is going through, but whatever she is in good hands.

I am going thru a simular situation with my brother. Its very hard when it hits close to home. I will pray for your sister, tonight, when I pray for my brother. I have asked the Lord for so much recently I almost feel guilty when I pray every night. Then I remember,”Just ask and you shall receive” “All things are possible through God.” May you be strong for your sister. God Bless.

Please remember my sister. Yes, sometimes I feel guilty, too. He already has done so much for me – how can I possibly ask for more?

Sweetheart, it is not trite to say, “His grace is sufficient”.... and He will prove it! I know how you feel, and prayer is THE most powerful weapon we have…. from our heart, straight to the throne of God!!! XX
